If you have chose it is time to trade in your used phone for a new one but you don’t want to break the bank, don’t worry, there are some spectacular budget cell phones available.  Most providers will offer budget cell phones for free when you sign a contract with them and a lot of them are equipped with some really spectacular features such as digital cameras or a GPS receiver and you may be able to find some of these on the used market if you want to avoid a new contract.  Just be sure to donate or recycle your used cellphone and not simply throw it away.

1.  Nokia Surge – Surprisingly there is a Smartphone on the budget list.  It may not have the features of an Machine, BlackBerry or iPhone but it is an impressive buy at a budget price. Among the various surprises on this phone is a GPS receiver, music player, camera, video camera and a slide out keyboard.

2.  Samsung Reclaim – This fabulous green slider phone is more than just a fashion belt.  It boasts an impressive 360 minutes of continuous talk time so you will  never have to cut your conversation small.  Voice dialing, digital camera and GPS capability are all establish on the Samsung Reclaim.

3.  Sony Ericcson W518a – Not only do you get a pretty nice flip phone, you also get a Walkman music player which is pretty akin to the iPhone application.  It comes with only about 100MB of memory but that is expandable to 8GB if you use a memory stick for all of your music.  This phone also comes with a GPS receiver.

4.  Samsung Intensity – Here is a fantastic slider with 300 minutes of continuous talk time.  GPS capability, Bluetooth, digital camera and music player are just a few of the features on this budget phone.

5.  Nokia 6350 – This is a solid dependable phone with a slim flip design that is the perfect size for your back pocket.  There is a GPS receiver and a camera with a 4x zoom, but, it is lacking a sparkle so don’t expect to take any award winning photos with it.  It is doubtless a step up from the refurbished cell phone you are using right now though.

6.  Sanyo SCP 3810 – This gunmetal gray flip phone may look expensive but it certainly is not. The screen is a bit smaller than others but if you don’t have the need to do a lot of web browsing or emailing, you may possibly really take pleasure in this one.  Digital camera, music player and GPS capability is available.

7.  Pantech Impact – Equipped with a QWERTY pullout keyboard, digital camera, GPS capability, Internet browser and Bluetooth, this cell phone has all the essentials you are looking for at a budget price.

8.  Nokia 2720 Fold – Here is a flip phone with radio service capability.  It also presents a digital music player, camera and Internet browser.  There is not a GPS adapter on this one but if you already have GPS in your car, you may not miss that figure.

9.  Motorola Entice – A stunning silver flip phone with an impressive 330 minutes of continuous talk time.  This budget phone is equipped with radio and GPS service capability as well as web browser, digital camera and a music player.

10. Samsung Flight – This stylish dark red slider phone doesn’t have GPS or radio capability but what it does offer is dependability, digital camera, Bluetooth music player and an available internet browser.  The downside of this phone is that it only has 180 minutes of continuous talk time but if you don’t need to have more than a 3 hour conversation at a time, this may be the perfect phone for you.
